Department of Psychological Sciences
My teaching interests center on health psychology as an interdisciplinary field integrating biological, psychological, social, and cultural determinants of health. I teach with frameworks such as the biopsychosocial model and evidence-based content from Health Psychology: Well-Being in a Diverse World by Regan A. R. Gurung. Areas of emphasis include stress and coping, chronic illness management, health behavior change theories, psychophysiology, and health disparities.
