Teaching Interests
I’m drawn to teaching physiology and pathophysiology because they form the backbone of solid clinical judgment. What I enjoy most is seeing students take what they’ve learned and apply it to real patient situations, when the science starts to matter in a tangible way. Guiding them as they develop that clinical instinct is consistently rewarding.
Research Interests
My research centers on understanding how students learn and what truly drives their motivation. I’m especially interested in which active learning strategies students view as genuinely useful rather than just added tasks. Identifying the approaches that actually help them grow while cutting out the noise guides the work I do.
