Where do they go after graduation?
Psychology majors are competitive for many bachelor’s entry-level jobs because of their ability to think critically, their strong oral and written communication skills, and their tendency to be concerned by real-world problems and ability to pull from scientific literature to solve them. Many students from this major pursue graduate education.
Opportunities
The BS Program in Psychological Sciences is designed as a full-time, year-round semester-based program. Program completion requires 124 credit hours with 33 credit hours in major, 64 in general education, and 27 in minor and electives. Most students finish the degree in four years.

Assistantships
The department offers many students the opportunity to work as paid assistants in our introductory lab courses. These students work alongside our faculty helping students and preparing labs. In addition, many of our students work as tutors in the department's Student Tutor Center.
