The objective of the program is to prepare candidates for certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, a Sub-board of The American Board of Pediatrics. The candidates therefore will meet the requirements outlined in the Directory of Graduate Medical Education Programs published by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
In addition to preparing our fellows for certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, our program aims to achieve 3 fundamentals:
Dr. Jessica Gancar, Neonatology Fellow, gives a tour of the NICU at the Children's Hospital of Georgia.
Our program interviews candidates between mid-August to late October
Currently, our program conducts interviews virtually.
