This standing committee shall consist of a chair and four members appointed by nomination of the Committee on Committees and approval of the Executive Committee of the MCG Faculty Senate.
The purpose of the Wellbeing Committee is to promote the wellbeing of Medical College of Georgia faculty, physicians and advanced provider practitioners, residents, and medical students on each of its campuses. The committee shall support a coordinated, systematic, and sustained effort to assess, prevent and ameliorate burnout, and to promote positive psychological wellbeing.
The Office of Learner Well-being was established in 2020 to support the wellness of our learners in Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) and Graduate Medical Education (GME) at the Medical College of Georgia. If you are an MCG-AU medical student, resident, or fellow, then you are a learner.
