Taylor Wilkey serves as the GME Program Administrator. He is a Chattanooga native
and a graduate of Kennesaw State University.
His hobbies include spending time with family, meeting new people, following various sports, grilling/smoking new recipes, and enjoying the weekends.
Dr. Thompson is a board-certified Family Medicine physician. He graduated from UT Chattanooga and earned his medical degree from East Tennessee State University. He completed his family medicine residency at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN.
He transitioned to graduate medical education to participate in and contribute to a collaborative community of learners. He has an abiding professional interest in prevention and wellness. He lives in Ringgold, GA with his wife and two daughters. He loves hiking, running or biking on trails and participates in a triathlon from time to time.

Dr. John Beckner is a board-certified psychiatrist at Hamilton Physician Group- Behavioral Health in Dalton, GA. He attended medical school and completed his residency training in psychiatry at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Akron, Ohio.
“I enjoy getting to know my patients and watching them reach their goals,” says Dr. Beckner.
Dr. Beckner assists his patients with issues related to ADHD, alcohol and substance abuse, anger, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), psychosis, stress management, thought disorders, and more.
Rod Rodriguez, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon and breast specialist with Hamilton Physician Group-General Surgery. He attended medical school at the Morehouse School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. He trained under nationally recognized surgeons who were among the first in the U.S. to do stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies.
Dr. Rodriguez was an early adopter of minimally invasive biopsy techniques, including office-based ultrasound-guided core biopsies. He also participated in the first image-guided breast biopsy course by the American College of Surgeons. He was among the first to do sentinel lymph node biopsies after receiving training at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.
