The Associate Vice President (AVP) of Student Affairs serves as a thought leader and strategic planner to cultivate student learning, engagement, and success in the Division of Enrollment & Student Affairs. The AVP supports student success through the development of co-curricular opportunities, serving as an advocate for inclusive communities, and creating an engaging student life experience for a transforming comprehensive, research university. The AVP fosters effective collaborative partnerships with faculty, academic departments, staff, senior administrators, and students to provide a seamless holistic learning environment that blends the classroom and out-of-classroom experience among a diverse student body including undergraduate, graduate, and professional students and a rich mix of residential, commuter, military, and online students. The AVP serves as a member of the Division of Enrollment & Student Affairs Senior Leadership team, leading division efforts towards the achievement of the University Strategic Plan and the Division's Strategic Plan.
Augusta University is seeking a technologically adept, data-driven, innovative leader with a history of success in graduate admissions to lead graduate enrollment processes for more than sixty graduate and graduate certificate programs. The Director of Graduate Admissions reporting to the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management, works strategically with graduate programs to create clear and concise processes that ultimately fulfill the university’s growing graduate student enrollment goals for both in-person and online programs. Responsibilities include managing and providing training on policies and system processes, ensuring necessary compliance in admission policies, developing a diverse and talented staff, and providing leadership in data-management and program growth planning.
We are looking for a highly skilled, collaborative, student-centered professional to serve as our Director of Testing and Disability Services. Reporting to the Associate Vice President and Dean of Students, this role directs the operations of disability services for all current and prospective students and works with faculty and staff to ensure students with documented disabilities have access to the academic environment. Additionally, the role supervises and coordinates the testing function of the institution to include standardized testing for current and prospective students and the broader community.
We are looking for a collaborative, compassionate, and student-centered professional to serve as our Associate Dean of Students. This role works primarily to chair our CARE Team and the operations of our Jags Care initiative. The Associate Dean is responsible for managing and coordinating a collaborative approach in responding to reports of students in distress. Additionally, the professional in this role needs to be skilled at conflict resolution, process development, and has an understanding of student conduct.
The communications strategist plans, coordinates, and implements a large number of communications in multiple media formats to promote Augusta University and the Division of Enrollment and Student Affairs, adhering to the highest standards of communication. In promoting Augusta University to prospective students, this position primarily serves the units in Enrollment Management (Admissions, Financial Aid, Military and Veteran Services, and New Student & Family Transitions) through development of student recruitment communications. In promoting on-campus experiences to current students, this position also serves the units across the Division of Enrollment and Student Affairs by providing oversight and direction for the bi-weekly student newsletter, JagMobile app, and special marketing campaigns.
