Justin Burns, PhD, is Chief Innovation Officer at the Georgia Research Alliance, where he leads the state’s investment program in early-stage technologies. He was previously a life sciences venture capital investor and began his career in research roles at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory and Emory University. He holds a PhD and a BS from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
