Teaching

The Master of Arts in Teaching Online program is designed for those who have earned an undergraduate degree in a field outside of education.

The Elementary, Middle, Secondary, Special Education, and World Languages programs are offered entirely online. The Music program requires in-person attendance. Most courses require 25 hours of field experience, with Elementary experience specific to your certification field.

Middle Grades (4th-8th): Students must choose two concentrations (English, Science, Math, Social Studies). The GaPSC requires 15 semester credit hours per concentration for certification. If not met at application, you can work with your advisor post-admission to complete the required coursework, which may include in-person attendance.
