The Department of Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University is committed to providing the highest level of surgical care, training the next generation of surgeons, and integrating our knowledge and skills into research that keeps us at the forefront of the surgical frontier.

Research and teaching are a tremendous part of our efforts. We strive to keep our students, house staff and faculty involved in the development of new educational programs, clinical trials and innovative procedures.
