Part-time & Clinical/Adjunct Reappointment
In accordance with Board of Regents Policy 8.3.5 (Evaluation of Personnel), Augusta University evaluates all faculty annually. For part-time and clinical/adjunct
faculty, this annual evaluation occurs through the reappointment process.

- Non-paid clinical and adjunct faculty are reappointed on a three-year cycle.
- Primary departments must allow sufficient time to collect necessary approval signatures
for joint appointments, institutes, centers, or service line memberships.
Annual Timeline
- March 15: Reappointment reports are emailed to the Dean or Chief Executive Officer
of each college and administrative unit.
- May 1: Completed original forms are due to the Vice President for Academic and Faculty
Affairs.
- May 10: Completed original forms are due to Human Resources – Faculty Support Services.
