WHO IS MY ACADEMIC ADVISOR?
Your Undergraduate Academic Advisor assists you in pursuing your educational goals, facilitating access to the full range of learning opportunities and services available at Augusta University. Typically, students are assigned to an advisor after they declare a major. Department chairs and program coordinators assign academic advisors from their respective disciplines to work with declared students. These assignments are automated and you will receive an email once your major advisor has been assigned.

Your Success Coach can help you develop the skills, strategies, and mindset needed to excel in the classroom. Meet with them to develop an individualized academic success plan, address any course changes, and learn how to effectively navigate the demands of college coursework.
Your Health Professions Outreach (HPO) Advising Coordinator connects you to Augusta University campus and community resources by providing personalized pathways throughout your journey toward your chosen health profession.
Your CAPE Advisor can provide specialized guidance throughout your academic and career journey.
Housed in the Department of Multicultural Student Engagement (MSE), Multicultural Mentorship Program (MMP) and African American Male Initiative (AAMI) Program Staff provide support to students in the MMP and AAMI leadership program.
The Academic Advisement Center advises students with less than 60 credit hours, students in pre-admit programs, dually enrolled students, and senior citizen audit students
