Discover the diverse ecology and evolutionary patterns of Kenya. Excursions include safaris at Hell’s Gate National Park and Maasai Mara, visits to amazing Kariandusi Archeological Site where Australopithecus once roamed, and ancient rituals with the Maasai Tribe.
Students will study the ecological processes with emphasis on species diversity, community relationships, and conservation of the Kenyan tropical savanna. Additionally, students will learn about fossil records and molecular genetics and the significance of Kenya and Kariandusi Prehistoric Site in the history of human evolution.
