Our motto is … to care, to cure, to educate. We provide confidential, professional, quality and student-centered health care, health education, and preventive services to students enrolled at Augusta University. These services represent best-practices, assisting students to maintain health that will maximize their learning potential. We strive to meet and exceed your expectations through our four pillars of service excellence: clinical care, health education, student compliance with University policies, and student learning and engagement.
As an enrolled health-fee paying student, you are entitled to receive in-person or
telehealth office visits to see a primary care physician, psychiatrist, nurse practitioner,
physician assistant, or nurse at the Student Health Clinic. The Clinic is located
on the Health Sciences Campus and open Mondays through Fridays. Appointments are required.
Our health care services include primary care, women’s health, psychiatry, immunizations,
lab testing, physical therapy, travel medicine, dietitian consultations, and basic
office procedures. You don’t need health insurance to be seen at the clinic as our
prices are nominal compared to local outpatient clinics and doctors’ offices. Students
who are enrolled in the University System of Georgia/Board of Regents endorsed student
health insurance plan don’t pay any out-of-pocket charges for covered lab tests, vaccines,
and procedures performed at the Clinic. We assist with your admission health requirements
that include immunization and health insurance. We also provide health promotion outreach
programs throughout the year such as flu prevention clinics, breast cancer awareness,
STI screenings, health screenings, and an annual health fair. Finally, we sponsor
the Student Health Advisory Council (SHAC), an official student organization at Augusta
University that advocates for clinical and health promotion services for all students.
The staff at Student Health are passionate about college health and committed to helping students perform at their best. We strive to be the preferred resource for Augusta University students to receive professional and compassionate health care that fosters healthy lifestyles and lifelong learning.
Wishing you healthy academic success,
Robert Dollinger, MD
