Welcome to the Online Report Tool

Online reporting is an efficient way for our community to conveniently file police reports from home, work, or anywhere with Internet access.

How Online Reporting Works

Crimes that can be filed online usually do not require an in-person police response.

If you can answer yes to all of the following, then you may file an online report using this tool.

  • The incident you are reporting is not an Emergency.
  • This incident occurred on or around Augusta University property.
  • There are no known suspects (description and/or name) or suspect vehicle descriptions (tag numbers).
  • There is no physical evidence for our officers to collect or process.
  • The incident is not regarding the theft or loss of an ID and/or identification documents (passports, consular ID) issued by foreign governments.
  • The theft of a firearm is not involved.
  • The theft or loss of a prescription medication is not involved.

Using the Augusta University Police Department's Online Reporting Tool, you can report the following incidents:

  • Identity Fraud (use of individual or business information to commit a financial crime)
  • Harassment
  • Criminal Trespass (vandalism or damage to property $500 or less)
  • Criminal Damage to Property in the Second Degree (vandalism or damage to property greater than $500 with no danger to human life or involving a utility like water, gas, or power)
  • Theft of property less than $1500.01 in value.
  • Lost or Mislaid Property
  • Traffic Complaints
  • Private Property Crash Reports

If your incident is not listed in the selection list, please call the Augusta University Police Department (706-721-2911) to file your report.

Upon completion of this report process:

  • You will see the words: “Thank you for submitting your report.” showing that your police report is complete.
  • Once the report is reviewed, you will be contacted by an officer and given an official police report number for your records.

Please Note:

  • All cases filed using the Online Reporting Tool will be reviewed to determine if further investigation is warranted.
  • Augusta University Police Department will not pursue charges without speaking with you first.

Please remember that filing a false police report is a crime.
