The Graduate Student Council participated in the Children’s Hospital of Georgia Month of Miracles fundraiser. Council members sold Children’s Miracle Network balloons throughout the month to raise $150. Each of the balloons sold were incorporated into the Hundred Acre Woods wall display. After the fundraiser, the Winnie the Pooh characters were donated to the Ronald McDonald House.
The Graduate Student Council held a food drive for the Open Paws Food Pantry during the month of November. This Open Paws Food Pantry provides open-door support for students in need. We collected donations through drop-off on the Health Science Campus and the Summerville Campus.
