On this page, we have compiled a list of popular digital tools that we know students use every day. This will be your online resource to access things like the classroom learning portal, email, printing services and much more.

AU IT software applications require a username and password in order to gain access. You can log into these services using your Augusta University Jag ID, received from Admissions upon acceptance to the University. This is sometimes referred to as NetID (this is different from your unique 9 digit student ID). Your JagID is the key to all of your university systems. Please be sure to protect the security of your JagID and password.
To initiate this access, you will need to log into password.augusta.edu, you will be prompted to set a new password and answer security questions. If you experience login issues, please reset your password. If the issue persists, contact the IT helpdesk at 706-721-4000.
All students have access to an Augusta University email account. JagMail is one of the primary ways the University will contact students and share important information. Log in to JagMail at email.augusta.edu.
Multi-factor authentication from Duo protects your applications by using a second source of validation to verify user identity before granting access.
Before purchasing a new laptop, please consider the general student laptop recommendations and preferred pricing from Dell and Apple. These configurations were selected to ensure that students have the computing power to use applications required of the Augusta University general education curriculum and various graduate program courses. It may be beneficial to check your program of study for advice on additional technology requirements for those classes. Desire2Learn (Brightspace/D2L) is the primary learning management system (LMS) of Augusta University. This is the primary hub for your classes, grades, and any additional content provided for your classes (videos, discussion boards, etc.). You can access D2L by logging in with your JagID and password. Additionally, please contact the instructor first if you have course questions. Augusta University’s solution to cloud-based file sharing and storage service is Box. For data privacy please do not place any of your personal information in the AU BOX storage account.

If you need assistance connecting to one of the campus wireless networks, please visit one of the Student Help Desk locations. Note: Network and wireless connections for the dorms is through a different service provider. Please contact your housing office to learn more about your options.
IT Services has five locations on campus to receive hands on assistance. Student consultants man each help desk. Check the IT One Stop Help for locations and hours. Students have the option of using two online meeting platforms: Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
Augusta University has computer labs and printing stations for student use. For detailed information and to learn more about available printing, computer labs and software, visit computers and printing.
Jaguar Alerts is an emergency notification system to inform you of how the University will contact you in the event of campus emergencies, official closures, and other important events.
Visit the Critical Event Preparedness and Response Alert Sign Up site to enroll. In case of an emergency, contact Public Safety at 706-721-2911.
Augusta University has several campus agreements to provide some of the most popular software to students free of charge or at a greatly reduced price. Software includes Microsoft Office, Mathematica, SAS JMP Pro, and more. Security Tools are also available at low cost to students.
The Augusta University College of Education majors use Chalk & Wire for students to create electronic portfolios to showcase their work in a portable format. Please see the College of Education Chalk & Wire Site for more information.
Currently enrolled students may borrow audio, video and imaging equipment and cables for class-related work from the IT Help Desk in the Reese Library. You will need your JagID when checking out equipment. The Reese Library is the only location that has equipment for lending.
There are two libraries on campus: the Reese Library on the Summerville campus and the Robert B. Greenblatt, M.D. Library on the Health Science campus.
