You are eligible for membership if you fall within one of the following categories:
How do I sign up for membership?
Stop by the front desk. Membership applications are also available online. Simply fill out the application, including your payment information, and email it back to us.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Check, Visa, or MasterCard. You may also authorize payroll deduction if you are a full-time, benefits eligible employee of Augusta University, AUG UMC, CH of GA, or PPG.
Who is eligible for payroll deduction?
Payroll deduction is available for full time employees of Augusta University, AUG UMC and PPG. Please stop by the front desk for more information.
How do I cancel my membership?
If you have met your one year commitment, you can cancel by filling out the cancellation form located at the front desk. Once we receive this form, we will start the cancellation process.
What about our immediate family?
Children (age 6 to 18) are eligible for membership. Upon the purchase of a Family membership, all children may accompany their parents to the Campus Recreation Center during the designated family hours. Children must be directly supervised by their parents at all times. Immediate family members (siblings, parents, etc.) may be sponsored for membership accompanied by a member with the purchase of a guest pass.
Weekend guest passes for children may be purchased on a per visit basis. The all weekend pass is $8.00 and includes all children (ages 6-18).
Children ages 19 and above are considered as adults. They are eligible for membership as a Dependent. Dependent memberships are provided full access and privileges to the facility.
Other family members (siblings, parents, etc) may accompany a member with the purchase of a guest pass.
My program does not have a summer session. Can I still use the Campus Recreation Center?
Yes. Stop by the front desk and pay the summer student membership fee of $50 and your Augusta University ID card will be activated for summer. This also applies to co-ops, part-time and cross-enrolled students during fall and spring semesters. Fall memberships are valid until December 31st.
Can I bring a guest?
Students can bring two guests per day at the rate of $5 each.
Members can bring guests at the rate of $10 each.
Is there a trial membership?
No, currently no trial membership is available.

What is the busiest time at the facility?
While we experience bursts of usage several times a day, utilization tends to be highest during the hours of 4:30 - 7:00 pm.
Where can I park when I visit the Campus Recreation Center?
What should I wear?
Suggested clothing is appropriate work-out attire. Please note - scrubs and jeans are not permitted and appropriate shoes or footwear (no sandals, street shoes or flip flops) must be worn at all times.
Is there someone to help me start a program?
Yes. Personal Trainers are available to help you design and begin an exercise program. The sessions will help you establish individual goals that suit your personal preferences in equipment and exercises. A fee is required for these programs. They also offer an equipment orientation for $25.
Do you offer group exercise classes?
Yes. All classes on the group exercise schedule are included at no addition cost for current students and members.
