Phi Delta Theta was nationally founded in 1848, founded as a colony on December 9, 2017, and then received its charter on April 19, 2019.
Phi Delta Theta was created under three principle objectives: "the cultivation of friendship among its members, the acquirement individually of a high degree of mental culture, and the attainment personally of a high standard of morality". Helping every individual to meet his true potential is the bedrock of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.
