About Us

Delta Chi

Delta Chi was nationally founded in 1890 by eleven law students at Cornell University who initially intended to form a Law Fraternity. In 1922, the Fraternity officially went “general,” and thus opened up its membership to men in all areas of study. At Augusta University, Delta Chi was founded at Augusta University in 1976 and chartered in 1983.

The Four Pillars on which Delta Chi stands are to promote friendship, develop character, advance justice, and assist in the acquisition of a sound education. Delta Chi believes that it is their actions that makes them the fraternity they are, both nationally and on-campus.
