Margie Russ serves as the Senior Administrative Secretary to the Chair and Faculty
of the Department of Music. She is responsible for all areas of office administration
and management which includes supporting the Chair and Faculty of the department.
Mrs. Russ handles document preparation, internal/external communications, data and
records management, scheduling appointments and travel arrangements, budget management,
and task prioritization. She is also the initial contact person for all visitors,
vendors, deliveries, and answers questions of general nature for both current and
prospective students. Mrs. Russ especially enjoys her interactions with the students.
Mrs. Russ earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Southern Arkansas
University. She has been employed by Augusta University since 1999.
