Kelly Odell has an undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and a Performance
Certificate from the Sweelinck Conservatorium in Amsterdam. She was a winner of the
Concerto Competition at the University of Massachusetts, where she received her Master's.
She has been on the faculty of Bates College, Georgia Southern University, University
of South Carolina-Aiken, and is presently the oboe instructor at Augusta University.
Kelly has performed as guest artist with Symphony Orchestra Augusta, Savannah Orchestra,
South Carolina Chamber Orchestra, Pittsfield Symphony and the Smith College Orchestra.
She has played with Portland Symphony, Springfield Symphony, South Carolina Philharmonic,
Greenville Symphony, Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, Augusta Opera, and the Quad City
Symphony. She has toured Western Europe with the Ricciotti Ensemble, an orchestra
dedicated to performing new music.
Kelly currently performs oboe and English horn with the Hilton Head Orchestra, North
Charleston Pops, Symphony Orchestra Augusta, Augusta Choral Society and Lyra Vivace
Chamber Orchestra.
