Dr. Park has appeared as both soloist and chamber musician throughout the United States,
Canada, Europe and Asia, including such venues as Beijing Concert Hall, Dame Myra
Hess series in Chicago, and Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall. Of her solo tour in
China, the Tianjin Daily reviewed that Park caused a sensation among music lovers,
and she has received critical acclaim from American Record Guide and Fanfare for her
artistry and commitment to undiscovered piano repertoire. With her compact disc Piano
Music of Theodor Leschetizky, American Record Guide writes...can't imagine anyone playing these (pieces) better, or with more elegance and dedication...
splendidly realized.
She received the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Yale University and the Bachelor
and Master of Music degrees from Peabody Conservatory, and her teachers include Claude
Frank, Boris Berman, Julian Martin and John Perry. She has been a concerto soloist
with orchestras including the Augusta Symphony, the Augusta University Orchestra,
the Brevard Music Festival Orchestra, and the Atlanta Pops Orchestra. She has given
several world and American premieres of solo and chamber works of living composers,
and her chamber music performances have been featured at festivals around the world,
including Pacific Music Festival in Japan, Aspen Music Festival, Ernen Musicdorf in
Switzerland, the Foothills Chamber Music Festival, and the Mozarteum in Salzburg.
As an educator, she presents workshops and master classes throughout the country,
and her students have received regional and national distinction. She has taught at
Atlantic Union College in Massachusetts, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, and Georgia
Southern University.
