He is a rockstar in the world of library systems and led Augusta University through the consolidation of library resources that included the different cataloging schemes at Greenblatt and Reese Libraries as well as the project manager for the subsequent migration from the Voyager Library System to Alma. Rod is the liaison librarian to the Hull College of Business and the School of Computer and Cyber Science. He works extensively with the faculty and students in the HCOB, helping them with their research and acting as a “Shark Tank style” judge for their final projects. He has published a number of reviews in Library Journal, and has several peer reviewed publications and presentations. He was selected as the 2019 Outstanding Faculty Award Winner from the University Libraries, and received a Presidential Citation from the Special Libraries Association in 2016. ”
