In 2020, Lillian was presented with The Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History Annual Historian Award where she was lauded as “one of the most well respected researchers in the Augusta area.” Since 1999, Lillian has donated over 51 gallons of blood and platelets at the Shepherd Community Blood Center, a feat benefitting countless patients.
