What is the ASC?
The Academic Success Center (ASC) is here to encourage learning and support freshman and sophomores in reaching academic goals.
Who can use the ASC?
Tutoring and Academic Coaching services are targeted toward Augusta University students taking lower-level courses. The space is also open for general study.
Does the ASC offer one-on-one tutoring?
Yes, the ASC offers one-on-one tutoring with a peer educator that is professionally trained in that subject area. Schedule an appointment using Navigate.
How do I check-in for Tutoring, Studying, or Academic Coaching?
Check-In by visiting the kiosk located at the front desk.
Is ASC open during the summer?
Yes, hours are typically Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. There is no tutoring available during the summer, but the space is open for studying.
How do I apply to become a tutor?
We are always accepting new applications. We are looking for outgoing students with a passion for academics. No experience is necessary as long as you are enthusiastic, know your subject, and are interested in learning a new skill! Learn how to join the ASC team!
How do I get dry-erase board markers?
There are markers located at the white boards around the ASC. If any additional supplies are needed, please visit the front desk or ask an available staff member.
Can I use the Keurig Coffee Machines?
Yes, the Keurig Coffee Machines are operable and available for student use.
