Clinical Trial

Does Treadmill Type Effect Running Characteristics

Traditional treadmills are a popular way to exercise. Lately, Curved non-motorized treadmills are becoming increasingly popular in gyms, clinics and research. It has been previously shown that using a curved treadmill can use more energy and put a greater strain on the body, which is great for exercise. However, little is known about these devices past that. This research will assess if curved treadmills effect your gait while running and if the impact to your body may be reduced with the shape of the treadmill.
