We would like to speak with women who live in a rural area of the state of Georgia who have been pregnant in the last five years. Women may meet in a group discussion or in individual interviews. We will ask questions about your experiences accessing health care while you were pregnant and after you gave birth. We will also discuss how you use technology and ask for your input on an app for moms just like you. Added December 2020. We will ask pregnant and postpartum women to monitor and report their blood pressure, weight, and mood for two weeks in an online survey. We will also ask them about their experiences with COVID-19 as a pregnant/postpartum woman and their feedback on the use and design of the self-monitoring app. Added August 2022. Mothers will be asked to monitor and report their blood pressure, weight, and mood for up to 12 months postpartum Added March 2023. We are adding an additional recruitment site, Albany Area Primay Health Care, Inc. They will assist with the recruitment and distribution of blood pressure monitors and scales, and provide confirmation of participant competency in self-blood pressure administration and interpretation in the case that the participant does not have access to a web camera. They will not consent or enroll subjects. Added July 2024. We are anticipate 400 participants.
