TRUST (Treatment Results of Uterine Sparing Technologies) U.S.A. Study
All consented subjects who meet criteria will be randomized to recive either Global Fibroid Ablation, Myomectomy or Uterine artery embolization. The purpose of the study is to compare the direct and indirect cost of the three procedures during the ttreatment period and then followed up for 60 months post treatment. Some factors that influence indirect costs such as recovery rate, return to work, cost of care during recovery and any complications.
Eligibility Criteria
- Premenopausal female patients >/= 18 years of age who have symptomatic uterine fibroids Subjects desire uterine conservation, and are indicated for a surgical intervention for their symptoms All fibroids are less than 10 cm in any diameter Have no contraindications for laparoscopic surgery and/or general anesthesia Are willing to be randomized to treatment
