The Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) Chapter at the Hull College of Business is part of an international honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International – the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

The mission of BGS is to encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business, to cultivate and celebrate leadership and professional excellence, to advance the values of the Society, and to serve its lifelong members.

Students are selected and invited to become lifetime members by the Hull College’s Chapter, with an induction ceremony to honor new members each spring.

Induction Requirements

BGS logoMembership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB International.

Membership requirements:

  • A student must be in the top 10 percent of a baccalaureate business program;
  • Or the top 20 percent of a master’s business program after completing half of their program.

Students who meets these requirements will be "tapped" for membership approximately a month prior to the induction ceremony each spring.
