The mission of the Cyber Institute is to engage in community relations, non-credit granting education and foster technical research efforts under the direction of the Dean of the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences.
According to Cyberseek, a cybersecurity workforce platform, there are nearly 500,000 cybersecurity job openings across the United States. The demand for qualified cybersecurity workers is outpacing the supply of the cybersecurity workforce. To help fulfill this calling like no other, the Cyber Institute engages with different communities through outreach programs to help fulfill the mission of the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences. Our mission is to attract first-class students to the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences degree programs and research initiatives.
