Your Future
Graduates from the Health Services program can pursue a diverse offering of careers in a variety of different health care settings. They can work in hospitals or clinics, with home health agencies or pharmaceutical companies, at wellness facilities or with public health agencies.
The U.S. Department of Labor projects that job opportunities for medical and health services management will increase by 23% in Georgia and 29% nationwide, with a starting salary around $45,000 and median pay for health managers and health services administrators being $96,540.
Learning Like No Other
As Georgia’s only academic health center and the state’s only Health Sciences Center of Excellence, students are exposed to the full spectrum of health care.
The interdisciplinary nature of the program provides a variety of perspectives that can positively inform an individual’s understanding of the workplace.

Over the course of the weekend, numerous alumni banquets for the university’s colleges, schools and organizations will be held throughout Augusta
“We were surprised that we won but we were really passionate about our project to begin with. It’s just amazing that a lot of people also were interested in the pitch."
“I asked a couple of the lawmakers why they chose state politics over federal politics, and they all said because they felt they could have a bigger impact on our citizens at the state level," said Lee Saffold, a fourth-year political science major.
