I am pleased and honored to welcome you to the Augusta University Libraries.
Comprised of the Reese Library on the Summerville Campus and Robert B Greenblatt, MD Library on the Health Sciences Campus, the Augusta University Libraries provide outstanding services and resources. Our libraries are here to ensure your success, and we are glad to help you both in-person and online.
Our faculty and staff are dedicated in ensuring the Augusta Community is able to meet its education, research, clinical care, and outreach missions. Our Libraries provide individual and group study spaces, equipment lending programs, print and electronic resources, expert assistance, and the Creative Technology Lab. We are always on the lookout for new and innovative ways in which we can help you, so please come to us with your ideas and suggestions.
We recently completed a renovation of the Greenblatt Library to double the number of study spaces, refresh and upgrade our furniture, create new exhibit space on the first floor, partner with the Medical Illustration Program to feature signature works from graduates, and introduce wellness and leisure materials for our campus community. The Libraries also received a permanent investment of over $500,000 in new collections resources in the 2023 Fiscal Year, resulting in increasing our physical collection budget and subscriptions to new databases and electronic journals. I am also pleased to announce that over the 2023 Summer months, the Reese Library will refresh its study rooms, replace most furniture and dramatically improve the lighting on the 3rd floor.
It is truly an exciting time to be at Augusta University. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me, and I look forward to seeing you in our Libraries!
Sincerely,
Brad Warren
Dean of Libraries
