Bio
Dr. LaRavia received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Georgia Campus-Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Atlanta, GA in 2010. Dr. LaRavia completed his Emergency Medicine residency training at Medical College of Georgia in 2013, then remained at MCG to complete the Emergency Medicine Ultrasound fellowship in 2014. His primary area of clinical interest is in Point of Care Ultrasound, along with Event and Sports medicine, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, resident and medical student education. Dr. LaRavia has taken his ultrasound interest internationally by providing clinical ultrasound lectures at Instituto de Medicina Tropical, Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru and Complejo Hospitalario Metropolitano in Panama City, Panama.
