Bio

Dr. Tucker was appointed Spring 2015 as Associate Professor and in the Department of Emergency Medicine and is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. She currently serves as 4th Year Class Dean. She is a 1997 graduate of the Medical College of Georgia. She completed her internship then a Pediatrics residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2000 followed by a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship in 2005. Clinical specialties include Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Dr. Tucker is involved in numerous educational activities, which include Clerkship course teaching, resident training, mentorship, and student teaching in years 1, 2, and 4. Her research interests include Trauma and Student Education. Dr. Tucker is also a member of the Pediatric Trauma Committee and is involved in AAP and ACEP.
