Bio
Dr. Lemmon is a Professor and Director of the Eating Disorders Program within the Department of Psychiatry and Health Behavior at Wellstar MCG Health. He completed his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of Mississippi and his internship at the Medical College of Georgia/Charlie Norwood-Augusta VAMC. His career has primarily focused on eating disorders and he has worked as a clinician, researcher, teacher and supervisor in this and the broader field of behavioral medicine for 34 years. He has been married for 35 years and has two married sons and a grandson.

Teaching Interests
Eating disorders (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa), patients being considered for bariatric surgery, obesity, and patients who are struggling with other kinds of feeding issues. He also teaches medical students about Hospice & Palliative Care, Motivational Interviewing, general communication skills for doctors and case-based learning.
