The Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise and Sports Science will provide students with an undergraduate degree option that focuses on work in helping others develop motor skills, physically active lifestyles, and fitness. Students who are interested in topics like biomechanics, exercise physiology, sport and exercise psychology, fitness, strength and conditioning and coaching may be successful in this program.
Students with a concentration in Exercise and Sports Science will have the knowledge and skills that will prepare them for careers in fitness and wellness, personal training, clinical exercise physiology, sport coaching, and other related fields. Students may also be prepared to continue into graduate programs in areas such as sports medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy and other allied health professions.
