Psychiatry and psychology residents/medical students are also involved in research. During their residency training, psychology residents and medical students published scientific papers/book chapters and presented scientific papers/posters at national professional meetings.

The new educational efforts in the psychiatry residency and medical students' on how to be an intelligent consumer of research results are covered elsewhere. The residency's required academic project is an important introduction to the practicalities of research.
Psychiatry residents are also taking advantage of research opportunities in the Department
