Dr Stephanie Goei joined the faculty of the Medical College of Georgia in 1999 and has had appointments in both the Department of Pediatrics as well as the Department of Ophthalmology since coming to MCG. She holds a Professorship in these departments and is currently the assistant residency program director. She is director of the Pediatric ophthalmology service.
She received her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completed an internal medicine internship at Stanford University, a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary and a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at the Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto.
She specializes in the medical and surgical management of pediatric ocular disorders and adult strabismus. Best Doctors, Inc. has listed her among the "Best Doctors in America." Additionally, the Consumer's Research Council of America has included her as an America's Top Ophthalmologist in their Guide to America's Top Ophthalmologists.
