The Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) Fellowship Program at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University was approved by the ACGME on February 13, 2017. This is a three-year fellowship with one fellow position per year and is designed to prepare trainees for Academic Medicine.
Our comprehensive training includes clinical REI and Genetics as well as structured training in basic laboratory and clinical research, direct teaching experience, and the opportunity to pursue specific academic interests. In addition to standard REI, fellows will have extensive hands-on training of genetics and male exams, pubertal disorders, and reproductive developmental disorders with the opportunity to present clinical and research cases at our weekly Translational REI and Genetics conference. The program is an integral part of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
The program is designed for those who wish to become eligible for subspecialty REI certification given by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Candidates must have completed an accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Applications must be submitted through Electronic Residency Application Service ( ERAS). Once completed please forward CREOG scores to Fellowship Coordinator. Interviews will be held in August -September and are by invitation only. All interviews will be conducted Virtually, via Zoom during the dates below.
NOTE: Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents (green card) and must have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the fellowship start date. Due to the nature of fellowship funding, applications from H1B Visa holders cannot be accepted.
