The College of Education RTI Workshops brings to Augusta University leaders in the response-to-intervention practice to present work that has had significant impact in addressing the many 21st century challenges in education, counseling, and kinesiology.
Previous speakers have addressed the correlation between RTI and a STEAM curriculum, merging RTI and Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), presentations from local counties on their RTI implementations, and more.
The RTI workshops are free and open to the Augusta University community, and the public at large.
"As we confront persistent, and often perplexing, issues related to mental health, wellness, and intellectual development, our faculty at the COE remains committed to responsive and relevant research and teaching. The professional learning opportunities we offer reflect our commitment to high-impact teaching and superior professional counseling and kinesiology practices as our standard, not an exception.”
