Certificate of Leadership Internships are individually designed to allow students to receive academic credit for work experience. This work may be carried out in any of a variety of organizations, businesses or departments on campus or off campus. The internship is meant to serve as a transition step between the undergraduate experience and the professional world of work where the intern takes on a leadership role of a project within the organization. Internships should include planning, decision-making, teamwork, and communications. Interns are expected to behave professionally and should recognize that they are representing Augusta University and the Leadership program.
