The U.S. medical and scientific community is very active in community outreach and
social service programs. That is why our MD/PhD program incorporates philanthropic
events into its curriculum.
As an MD/PhD student, you will help design and implement an effective community outreach
program and devote one day of service each year to this worthwhile endeavor. Through
this program, you'll enjoy the rewards of giving, learn organizational and promotional
skills, and fuel your enthusiasm for helping others.
