It is my pleasure to serve as the Dean of The Graduate School at Augusta University and thank you for considering Augusta University for your graduate studies.
We have a vibrant and diverse graduate community that includes approximately 1000 students enrolled in 45 graduate programs across 9 colleges and schools. Our students are being prepared for challenging and rewarding careers in allied health, the biomedical sciences, biostatistics, business, cyber security and intelligence, education, nursing, and oral biology. In addition, we are always working to develop new programs to meet the evolving needs of our students and community. As such, the Graduate School at Augusta University is preparing the next generation of leaders who will provide the discovery and innovation needed across disciplines to positively impact our society.
The opportunity to serve the needs of our graduate students and faculty in the current climate offers unique challenges and opportunities that I am excited to be a part of. The health and safety of our students and faculty is a top priority as we work to develop new ways to maintain the high-quality education that we are known for while respecting the needs for social distancing. I am extremely grateful of the hard work being done at every level of our institution to make this possible, and I am thankful to be part of an academic institution with such a strong commitment to protecting the health and safety of everyone.
