Augusta University strives to be a good steward of the many resources used to accomplish our three-part mission. We are committed to conserving energy and promoting a safe, enduring environment.
Here are a few examples that demonstrate this commitment:
Augusta University Medical Center achieved EPA Energy Star designation in 2012, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. This is an incredible accomplishment considering the age of the hospital facilities and the way in which they are operated to maintain a patient-centric environment.
The Dental College of Georgia earned Silver LEED certification in 2012, becoming the first building on the Augusta University campus to hold such a designation. Learn more.
