Due to recent spike in COVID-19 cases, the 2022 Research Table Clinic Day will be held in a virtual format.

DCG Students, Residents, Graduate Students, Postdoctoral Fellows, Faculty, Pre-doctoral Dental students are welcome to participate.

The DCG Office of Research, in collaboration with the American Student Dental Association, presents Research and Table Clinic Day (RTCD) 2022 to promote scientific research and innovative clinical care with a focus on current practices and projects being conducted at the Dental College of Georgia.

A total of 70 posters showcasing the scientific research and innovative clinical treatments practiced at the Dental College of Georgia, AU-Dental hygiene program and Fort Gordon Dental Residency program have been submitted for this annual event.

Plan to attend this virtual event to support and celebrate the hard work put in by our students, residents, and their mentors!  


RTCD Events


Research Poster Presentation & Competition

Student, residents and faculty are highly encouraged to submit dental or dental-related research and innovative clinical treatments for presentation. All poster presenters will be required to submit an abstract of their presentations. In addition, participants can also opt to enter the poster presentation competition, which will be judged and monetary awards will be given to the highest scoring presentations.

7th Annual David H. Pashley Lecture

Speakers selected to provide this annual one hour lecture embody the spirit of scholarship, mentorship, and collegiality that Dr. Pashley embodied so well throughout his tenure at the Dental College of Georgia.

Past speakers have included clinicians, scientists, and external consultants who share their  insights on current trends and innovation in dental medicine as well as their experiences and lessons learned in their fields.


Research and Table Clinic Day associated CE course

The DCG Office of Research will also be offering a continuing education program for DCG faculty, residents, alumni and private dentists through its 3nd annual Distinguished Lecture Series.
