Pamplin Pedagogy and Instruction Committee

The Pedagogy and Instruction Committee makes recommendations to the Dean about the needs and interests of faculty in the areas of teaching and learning. This includes: recommendations about resources needed to support effective teaching and innovation, including technology needs in the classroom; recommendations about the frequency, scope, format, and leaders of training and development workshops for the purpose of improving teaching and learning; and recommendations about college-specific processes or instruments used to evaluate faculty teaching and learning, including Peer Evaluations of Teaching and Student Course Evaluations.
