The purpose of the New Employee Onboarding Committee is to create and implement opportunities to welcome new staff members to the Division. These welcome opportunities will provide ways for new employees to interact with other staff, learn about the Division in its entirety and increase staff awareness of networking opportunities. The goal of these methods should lead to an increased level of employee retention and satisfaction. The New Employee Onboarding Committee also provides training and support to supervisors of new employees.

● Continue planning and facilitation of New Employee Workshops every 3 months● Continue planning and facilitation of monthly departmental discovery programs● Formalize process to receive names of new employees ● Streamlining communication & calendar invites Future Actions
● Develop & implement Buddy Program● Identify, develop, and implement ongoing supervisor training opportunities● Provide ongoing assessment of the impact of onboarding programs within the division● Continue to research the latest onboarding trends○ Ongoing committee training and development on the topic of onboarding. Access to relevant literature, professional associations, and conferences.
