The PT&R committee exists to ensure that faculty are fairly considered for promotions and tenure, and are routinely reviewed for continued teaching, service and professional development as set forth by the CSM promotion and tenure criteria. Details for revising and executing the CSM PT&R process are found in the CSM Guidelines for Promotion and Tenure.
Charge: The CSM PT&R committee is responsible for executing the policy rather than formulating it; formulating the policy itself (consistent with the University policy) is a responsibility of the Executive Committee, subject to the approval of the CSM Faculty Assembly.
