I am a native of York, Pennsylvania. After graduating High School, I enlisted in the United States Army in 2003. I attended Basic Training and Advanced individual Training as a 13F (Fire Support Specialist) at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. After Completion of Basic and AIT, I was assigned to 1-503rd, 2nd ID at Camp Casey, Korea as a Radio Telephone Operator and Forward Observer. While Assigned to the 503rd, I deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from August 2004 to July 2005. After deployment, the unit was re-assigned to Fort Carson, Colorado. I was next assigned to 1-505th PIR, 3 BDE at Fort Bragg, North Carolina where I served again as a Forward Observer and again deployed to Iraq from August 2006 to October 2007. Once the unit returned, I was assigned to 2-29 FA, 4 AD at Fort Bliss, Texas as the Combat Observation Tasing Team (COLT) Platoon Sergeant. While at Fort Bliss, I again deployed to Iraq from May 2009 to April 2010. After returning from my 3rd deployment, I was assigned to the 4th Battlefield Coordination Detachment (BCD) at Shaw AFB as the Future Plans Fire Support Sergeant. While assigned to the BCD, I deployed to Qatar, Al Died from November 2011 to February 2012, working at the Combined Air Operations Center. My next assignment was 4-25 IBCT (A) at Fort Richardson, Alaska as the Battalion Targeting NCO and Fire Support NCO for 3-509th PIR. After two years there, I was assigned to 1st BN, 3rd Special Forces Group at Fort Bragg, North Carolina as the BN Fire Support NCO and Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC). While assigned to 3rd SFG, I deployed to Afghanistan from August 2015 to January 2016 and Somalia, Africa from October 2016 to April 2017. After my time at Fort Bragg, I was stationed again at Camp Casey, Korea as the First Sergeant of 1-38th FAR from August 2018 to August 2019. My follow on assignment and last duty station was 3-320th FAR, Fort Campbell Kentucky, where I continued to serve as a First Sergeant until March 2022.

My military and civilian education includes: Basic Leaders Course, Advanced Leaders Course, Senior Leaders Course, Master Leaders Course, Airborne School, Jumpmaster Course, Air Assault Course, Joint Fires Observer Course, Advanced AFATDs Course, Precise Fire Targeting Mensuration Course, Precise Fire Weapons Course, Collateral Damage Assessment Course, Special Operations Terminal Attack Controller Course and Anti-Terrorism Officer Course. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from American Military University in Sports and Health Sciences with a focus on exercise science, where I have 62 Semester hours towards my degree program.

My awards include a Bronze Star Medal (2nd Award), Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal (4rd Award), Joint Service Accommodation Medal, Army Commendation Medal (5th Award), Army Achievement Medal (5th Award), Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal (3rd Award), Global War on Terror Expeditionary Medal (2nd Award), Global War on Terror Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon (4th Award), NATO Defense Medal, Combat Action Badge, Parachutist Badge and Air Assault Badge. I am also an awardee of the Order of Saint Barbara.
